The original company, Summit Engineering & Hydraulics Ltd, commenced business in 1973 and quickly attained the status of one of the leading and most progressive engine reconditioners and precision engineering specialists in the country.
In 1980 Summit diversified its expansionary interests and acquired the only hydraulic specialist engineering company in Rotorua. The hydraulics division grew to meet the demands of the Industrial and Mobile sectors of the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions mainly, but also serviced a select group of clients further afield.
The company attained ISO 9002 Quality Assurance (Telarc New Zealand) in January 1995, and maintains systems to the current ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
The hydraulics division was formed into a separate company, Summit Hydraulic Solutions Ltd, in April 2006. The business operation is already being widely recognised as a major player in the industry, helping customers like you with a range of hydraulic products, repairs and services.
