One of the most critical stages in continuous pulp production is the cooking, which calls for optimal digester function throughout the process. Reliability and high starting torque capacity are vital, especially in applications such as the digester outfeed device.
Hägglunds drive systems are used successfully in all types of digesters, including the largest ones in the world, which are more than 10 metres in diameter.
They can also be applied in the somewhat smaller pre-impregnator, as well as in the HP-feeders in the process stage prior to the digester.
